How To Craft a Sword in Minecraft?
Crafting a sword in Minecraft is fairly simple. But this solely applies to the first two variants of the sword. Each type of sword in Minecraft requires one stick. The other two ingredients differ from sword to sword. Let us first understand how you can craft the easiest sword to get you going.
- First of all, get chopping on wood and gather at least 2 logs.
- Place the logs on the crafting table and get eight planks out of them. Now, place a plank in the crafting table and get four sticks out of it.
- Now, at the crafting table, place the stick in the bottom row of the middle column. Right above it, place two planks, one above the other.
- This will give you the beginner sword in the game, i.e., the wooden sword.
Using this sword, you will be able to inflict more damage on the mobs compared to normal blocks or your hands. It is useful when surviving the first night in the game when you don’t have many resources to depend upon.
