In this guide, we shall go over how to fast travel in Dune Awakening, so you can get to your destination faster.
Dune Awakening throws you into the Arrakis you love, but not the one you know. There’s no Paul Atreides in this timeline, and the Atreides/Harkonnen are in a full-blown conflict. To best represent a conflict of this scale, Dune Awakening boasts a massive map. It has tons of activities to do and secrets to explore, all while unraveling the mysteries behind the conflict and disappearance of the Fremen.
As you go about engaging with all the game has to offer, you’ll grow tired of the back-and-forth travel. While you could use a Sandbike or build a base in a central location to cut time, it is insufficient in the grand scheme of things. Thankfully, Dune Awakening has a fast travel option, albeit an unconventional one. The option is hidden, however, leading to many players missing out on it entirely.

You unlock the fast travel option in Dune Awakening as part of the A Wider World quest in the game. The quest sees you travelling to the Griffith’s Reach Tradepost, where you then have to speak to an Ornithopter pilot.
Head over to the tradepost and you will find the Pilot tucked away in the Northeastern corner of the building. Head over to the pilot NPC and press the ‘E’ key to talk to her. The pilot will then inform you that she can fly you anywhere for a price. You will be shown a list of dialogue options. Select the option that reads “I want you to fly me somewhere.” This will bring up a list of three locations: Hagga Basin, Arrakeen, and Harko Village. Select the location you wish to, and then pay 2500 Solaris. The pilot will then fly you over to your selected location.
You can only fast travel by talking to the pilot at the tradepost. This means that you’ll have to manually travel to the tradepost every time you wish to fast travel in Dune Awakening.
