The Lasgun is a tier 6 in Dune Awakening that deals massive mid-range damage. Here’s how you can get yourself a Lasgun in Dune Awakening.
In the latest update of Dune Awakening, there are two variants of Lasguns that you can obtain through unique schematics: the Arhun K-28 Lasgun and its Black Market version. Between the two, there are differences in lore and how you can obtain them, but their stats are the same, so there’s no gameplay difference. Here’s how you can get both Lasguns in Dune Awakening so you can shoot lasers in the Deep Desert of Arrakis.
Getting a Lasgun in Dune Awakening
Arhun K-28 Lasgun
The Arhun K-28 differs from the standard Lasgun, as it is heavily modified and upgraded to a tier 6 weapon in Dune Awakening. Its high rate of fire and large magazine make it best for suppressive fire in battle at medium range. Its safety mechanism for the Holtzman shield has quite a history.
When a Lasgun was mistakenly fired at a Holtzman shield in Carthag, many lost their lives due to the nuclear-level destruction that occurred afterward. The disaster was so great that even the Black Market version of the gun complies with the safety mechanism.
The Arhun K-28 Lasgun needs to be unlocked through the Duraluminum research tree, as well as by finding its own unique schematic. The schematic is found by completing the “Proper Thanks” quest, where you will have to face a Mass Kheret ambush. Another way to find the schematic is inside a chest near the end of the Desert Eco Labs.
Finally, you can craft the weapon at a weapons fabricator. Here are all the stats you need to know about the Arhun K-28 Lasgun:

How To Get the Black Market Arhun K-28 Lasgun
The Black Market variant of the Arhun K-28 Lasgun does not differ in stats from its standard version. However, acquiring its unique schematic is another matter. The Black Market Arhun K-28 Lasgun is classified as a tier 6 (Plastanium) weapon that can only be acquired through drops in Dune Awakening. The schematic can be found in the Deep Desert, which rotates its unique item drop rates weekly, so it is entirely based on RNG. However, you can also acquire it through the Exchange, a player-driven market in Dune Awakening.
Other than that, both guns have no differences in stats and vary only in their acquisition method and lore.
