In Diablo 4, players can find Mythic Uniques, which are the rarest and most powerful items. The Harlequin Crest (also referred to as Shako) is a Mythic Unique Helm that can be equipped by all classes. While it greatly increases your defense stats, acquiring it is challenging, much like any other Mythic Unique.

Although there are several ways to farm Harlequin Crest, none of them guarantee success and may require multiple attempts. Here are the possible ways to get the Harlequin Crest in Diablo 4.

You can acquire Harlequin Crest in several ways.

One of the most reliable methods is to defeat Echo of Duriel, an Uber Boss that can drop Uniques and Uber Uniques like the Harlequin Crest. However, you need 2 Mucus slick eggs and 2 Shard of Agony to summon the boss. While defeating Duriel may increase your chances of obtaining the helm, the drop is not guaranteed.

Participating in World Events like Gathering Legions, Nightmare Dungeons, and World Boss fights can also have a chance of dropping Harlequin Crest.

Apart from farming from bosses and world events, you can also craft or transmute the Harlequin Crest. Salvaging Mythic Uniques provides Resplendent Sparks. Once you have five of them, you can craft Harlequin Crest at the Alchemist under the Transmute tab. While this serves as a guaranteed way, it requires you to have a sufficient amount of Mythic Uniques beforehand to convert them for Resplendent Sparks.

The Mythic Unique Helm Harlequin Crest is one of the best defensive items. It boosts various defensive stats like Armor, Life, and Resistance. It has the following affixes:

+800 Maximum Life
+18 Maximum Resource
+350 Armor

The in-game description of Harlequin Crest’s Unique effect reads:

“Gain 20% Damage Reduction. In addition, gain +4 Ranks to all Skills”

The helm significantly increases the damage reduction by 20%. Additionally, it increases all skill ranks by +4. These stats and effects make Harlequin Crest one of the best and most sought-after items in Diablo 4.
