The Blade Phantom is easily the coolest character in The First Berserker Khazan, not only in terms of his voice but also his design. Unfortunately, in the base game, there’s no way to obtain the Blade Phantom’s armor set. However, you do have the option to get the second-best thing to that – the Soul Eater set.

Soul Eater is essentially the Phantom armor in The First Berserker, granting Khazan the look of a Phantom while also offering incredibly powerful passive perks. Additionally, the armor set also comes with a unique skill as one of its Set Bonuses. The skill Phantom Judgement is unique to the Soul Eater set and is arguably the most powerful active ability in the game.

However, obtaining the Soul Eater set is much easier said than done. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to obtain (and craft) the Soul Eater set in The First Berserker Khazan.

Where To Find the Soul Eater Set in The First Berserker Khazan?

There are two ways to obtain the Soul Eater set: via enemy drops or by crafting. In the early parts of The First Berserker Khazan, the Soul Eater set can only be obtained as armor pieces from random enemy drops.

However, there are two specific boss encounters that guarantee multiple pieces of the Soul Eater set – Blade Phantom and Keshta the Unyielding. In the earlier parts of the game, defeating the Blade Phantom is the best option to farm the Soul Eater set and the Soul Piercer weapons.

As for crafting, the Soul Eater set can be crafted once you unlock the Blacksmith Qazumaka. Do note that in order to craft the Soul Eater set, you need to obtain the Soul Eater’s Scroll.

To get the Soul Eater’s Scroll, you need to progress the main story to the Witch’s Castle quest. After you complete the Witch’s Castle and defeat Trokka, you will get the Bonus QuestLacrima. Start the Lacrima quest and progress until you reach the Aldevir Central District Nexus.

From the Nexus, proceed normally until you reach a bridge guarded by a group of undead enemies (Plague Husks) and a Failed Creation. Defeat all the enemies and proceed to the statue right behind the Failed Creation.

You will find the Soul Eater’s Scroll on top of the corpse pile. Once you have the Soul Eater’s Scroll, head back to Qazumaka to craft the Soul Eater’s set and weapons.
