Yes, Fragpunk will be coming to the Xbox Series X|S and the PS5, but not on March 6, 2025, as originally scheduled.
With hero shooters the talk of the town, developer Bad Guitar Studios is looking to cash in on the momentum with Fragpunk. A 5v5 shooter hero shooter at first glance, Fragpunk is far more than meets the eye and isn’t a simple cash grab. This game combines hero shooter elements with randomized roguelike mechanics and is a fresh new take on the genre.
Fragpunk introduces randomized cards in each round, all of which serve to change the rules of the game. With random cards in each round, every round plays out differently. This requires players to stay quick on their toes and strategize accordingly. The game’s unique take on the genre is attracting players in droves, especially on PC, where the game launches on March 6.
But what about players on Console? If you’re a player on console, you will be delighted to learn that Fragpunk is coming to PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S. However, while the game was initially scheduled to launch on PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S on March 6 alongside the PC version, it has now been delayed.

Fragpunk Is Delayed on Xbox Series X|S and PS5

As stated earlier, Fragpunk has been delayed on the Xbox Series X|S and PS5. Yes, it will be coming to these consoles later on, but we’re not sure when that would be. The developers made the announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter), declaring that technical issues caused the delay for the port. In order to offer a smooth experience for console players, they were forced to delay the port.
To compensate for the delay, users on the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 will be getting all the rewards that they will be missing out on once the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 versions launch. Furthermore, players who had preordered the game on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 will have their preorders canceled.
This preorder cancellation is per platform policies. Their refunds for the same will automatically process and will reflect in their accounts. The developers will also add 10$ worth of in-game currency to their accounts as an apology to these players.
