How To Complete Magdalena’s Axe Side Quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
You can only start this quest after completing the Adept side quest that’s part of the Legacy of the Forge expansion of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Once you complete it, you can interact with Magdalena, and she will ask you to repair her broken axe.
Use the Forge
Once you have Magdalena’s Axe, you can head straight to the forge and repair it. Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can complete this part of the quest:
- Interact with the forge and select Magdalena’s Axe from the list.
- Once the process starts, you need to blow air into the fire to heat up the base material.
- Keep blowing air until the material becomes bright yellow.
- Hammer down the right areas of the axe, including the other side.
- Once the axe’s bright yellow glow turns dull, reheat it in the forge.
If you followed the process, you should have successfully forged Magdalena’s Axe. You are now ready to polish this tool.

Sharpen Magdalena’s Axe
After forging the axe, make your way to the grindstone. You now need to sharpen the tool by following these step-by-step instructions:
- Interact with the grindstone and select Magddalena’s Axe.
- Keep the grindstone spinning while moving and tilting the Axe.
- Make sure you see sparks flying, which indicates you are doing the process correctly.
If you see smoke while using the grindstone, it means you are doing something wrong. This can result in damaging the axe, so do not overdo it. Once the process is complete, you can leave the grindstone and find Magdalena. Once you give back Magdalena’s Axe, the quest will be complete. She will then ask you to find guild master Boris of Brod. This will start The Master’s Game in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
