MrBeast confirms his Japanese voiceover on YouTube is dubbed by famous voice actor Junko Takeuchi who has voiced Naruto in the anime.
YouTube megastar and content creator Jimmy “MrBeast” confirmed that Junko Takeuchi provides the Japanese voiceover for his YouTube videos. A clip went viral on X, where Jimmy is discussing the new voiceover feature provided by YouTube for an international audience.
In a clip posted by popular X user @Scubaryan_, Jimmy asks FaZe Clan members and others present if they have watched Naruto. Jimmy switched the voiceover to Japanese, and FaZe Silky immediately recognized the voice as Naruto’s.

In the clip, Jimmy was explaining how most of his viewers do not speak English. FaZe Adapt asked the content creator what languages his viewers speak the most. To which Jimmy replied that most of his viewers speak Hindi and Spanish. Junko Takeuchi is popular for voicing characters in various anime, including Hunter x Hunter and Naruto. MrBeast had previously met Junko in 2023 and had recorded a video with her titled ‘I Got Naruto to Subscribe to Me.’
MrBeast had previously announced that his videos would be available in other international languages, including Hindi, Spanish, Japanese, and more. He has separate channels for other languages e.g. MrBeast Hindi, MrBeast Espanol, and others.
However, YouTube has introduced a feature that allows users to switch the language on the video, provided that the creator has different voiceovers available. Moreover, with the introduction of this feature, Jimmy’s videos are now available in over 15 languages.

Internet Reacts to MrBeast’s Voice Actor
After the clip gained traction on X, users were showing appreciation for the dubbing. Many users claimed that Takeuchi voicing MrBeast’s videos was already known. Some comments on the post stated:
“I think it’s cool that he dubs his content for other languages. It allows us to be closer as a worldwide community.” commented @ConRobRich.

In 2023, a video of the Japanese dub for MrBeast went viral on X posted by user @RedLi8ning. The voiceover surprised users, with many noting its similarity to Naruto. In the clip, Jimmy’s voice actor uses Naruto’s iconic catchphrase, “Dattebayo”. Other than Jimmy, other crew members like Chandler and Karl Jacobs are also dubbed by other voice actors.
