As the name suggests, the MK2 weapons are just upgraded versions of some existing weapons. They are not entirely different weapons. So, if you have been revisiting Ammu-Nation to check whether they are back in stock, you have been doing it wrong.
Instead, you need to be rich with GTA$ to own these weapons because they can only be obtained if you have access to certain facilities at your disposal. With that being said, there’s not just one way of getting them. So, we will explore everything that you can do to get MK2 weapons in GTA Online.

Buying a Vehicle With Weapon Workshop
Vehicles like Terrorbyte, MOC, and Avenger can be equipped with a weapon workshop to make your job of getting MK2 much simpler. Apart from their base price, this Weapons Workshop alone can cost you a fortune. When I bought it, the upgrade cost me $245,000 when purchased from Warstock Cache and Carry.
A Weapons Mechanic will come in handy to help you upgrade your weapons here in this workshop. You can upgrade your weapons to MK2 easily with this GTA Online feature. A Bunker is also helpful in letting you mod your ammo and gun further. However, you can only unlock this MK2 upgrade with the above-mentioned method and with the ways that we are about to explore below.
Buying an Arcade
Arcade is one of my favorite businesses to own in GTA Online. There are various reasons behind it. One of them is that you can upgrade your guns inside the hidden bunker behind your legal business front. If you want to do something good with the “illegal” side of this business, we suggest that you access the Weapons Workshop underneath the Arcade.
However, read the description carefully. If the Workshop doesn’t come fitted in the standard Arcade, you can buy it while customizing your business. With this workshop installed, you can simply purchase an MK 2 upgrade.
Lastly, you can look for any business that allows you to buy a Weapons Workshop. This can be possible in Hangars too. This upgrade will cost extra, of course, and so will the MK2 upgrade itself. However, it can be well worth your money.
