From the moment you join the Thieves Guild, you hear ramblings of the Gray Fox. You hear much about him but don’t get to see him – after all, you’re low on the totem pole. As you make your way up the ranks, you finally garner the attention of the mysterious leader, who now has a high-stakes job for you.

Oblivion Remastered’s Turn A Blind Eye quest sees you doing a job for the enigmatic guild leader himself, giving you a sneak peek at the charismatic leader that leads this large organization. This is one of the harder quests in the game, and if you’re stuck, we wish to help. In this guide, we shall go over the Turn A Blind Eye quest in Oblivion Remastered.

You unlock the Turn A Blind Eye quest by fencing 600 Gold to the Thieves Guild. Once done, Methredhel will approach you and ask you to meet Gray Fox at Helvius Cecia’s house in Bruma. Head to the designated spot and talk to Gray Fox. He wants you to retrieve the Savilla’s Stone from the Temple of the Ancestor Moths.

Head north of Cheydinhal and make your way to the temple. Talk to Brother Holga outside the temple and persuade him to provide information on the stone. Holga will reveal that the stone is in the catacombs.

Enter the Ancestor Moths Crypt towards the eastern end of the temple grounds. Follow the linear path and make your way to the Temple of the Moth Halls. Use an invisibility spell and sneak to reach the Catacombs of the Temple of the Moth.

Enter the catacombs and head straight to the monk quarters. Head inside and take a U-turn to reach the Caverns of the Moth. Pass through the caverns. However, keep your eyes peeled on the ground for tripwires and traps. The path is linear but is riddled with skeletons, wraiths, and traps. Tread carefully and you will reach the Shrine of the Moth. Head inside and loot the Savilla’s Stone down below. Return to Gray Fox with the Savilla’s Stone to complete the quest.
