Survival crafting games like Runescape Dragonwilds require players to gather a wide range of resources. As you explore the different regions of Ashenfall, you will collect various resources such as bones, stones, and other crafting materials. However, keeping them close to you while traversing is not a good idea. It not only clutters your inventory but also requires you to retrieve it upon death.
Fortunately, Runescape Dragonwilds allows players to make storage boxes to securely store items in them. This keeps your items safe even after death while helping you expand the base. This guide will cover how to build a Storage Crate in Runescape Dragonwilds.

How To Unlock and Build Storage Crate in Runescape Dragonwilds
Unlocking the Storage Crate is simple — just follow the tutorial. You will unlock the Storage Crate by levelling up the Construction skill, which requires gathering enough Ash Logs and building a crafting station.
Upon unlocking, you can build a Storage Crate by heading to the Build Menu and navigating to the Furniture tab. Here you will find your Storage Crate and other related blueprints under the Storage section. Select the Storage Crate from the menu and place it in your base — inside or outside your house, depending on your preference. The Storage Crate keeps your items stored safely, allowing you to retrieve them whenever needed. You can store up to 16 items once per Storage Crate. To craft a Storage Crate, you need 10 Ash Logs, so make sure you have collected enough before building.

How To Get More Storage in Runescape Dragonwilds
While the Storage Crates are great for beginners, they won’t meet your long-term needs. Eventually, you will need more storage space as your inventory grows. If you have thought of building multiple Storage Crates to meet your needs, well, you have far better options than those.
Increase your Construction skill to level 16 to unlock more efficient storage options, including Small Chest and Large Chest. These storage items offer significantly more capacity than the base version. Given their importance, you also need high-quality resources like Coarse Thread and Swamp Tar to build them. Additionally, you will unlock the Weapon Rack to store your collection of weapons.
