Sapphire can be obtained as a secondary drop when mining Gold Ores. These ores only spawn in the Bloodblight Swamp region, located eastern side of the map. It is a late-game region in Runescape Dragonwilds, making Sapphire a late-game resource. Bloodblight Swamp is teeming with dangerous enemies, but what truly makes the area more deadly is its poisonous clouds. Make sure to carry some Weak Antipoison Potion and Bittercap Mushroom to survive the toxic area.
Upon locating a Gold Ore, swing your pickaxe for a chance to acquire Sapphire. Also, note that you must unlock the Gem Prospector perk, which becomes available at Mining level 16. The drop rate for the gemstone is very low and requires a lot of grinding. However, you can increase your chances by performing the Rocksplosion spell on ores. The spell unlocks at Mining level 11 and becomes handy when farming ores, making it faster and more effective.
