How To Get Abyssal Whip in RuneScape Dragonwilds
The first thing you’ll need to do in your hunt for the weapon is to take down a particular monster, known as the Abyssal Demon. Go to the westernmost part of the Whispering Swamp region of the game’s map to look for this creature. Keep in mind that it is a Level 4 monster, which makes it one of the most challenging foes you’ll face in the game currently.
The fight is brutal, and you’ll need to master the timing of your dodges to avoid the rapid lunge attacks from the Abyssal Demon. Besides that, make sure you carry plenty of healing items in your inventory before starting this fight. Wear the best armor you currently own to minimize the damage that the Abyssal Demon causes with its strikes. If you aren’t comfortable dealing with the enemy at close range, we suggest using your bow to take it down from range.
Defeating the monster will unlock the Abyssal Whip crafting recipe. Also, you’ll get the Abyssal Spine material from the monster, which is one of the key components when making the Abyssal Whip. Apart from that, make sure you have the following items in your inventory before you can proceed to craft the weapon.
- 4x Ram Horns
- 8x Hard Leather
- 1x Vault Core
- 12x Vault Shards
Take all of these items and 1x Abyssal Spine to the Smithing Anvil to finally craft the Abyssal Whip.
