You can obtain the Flamebringer after you have defeated the General of the North – Ai Nengqi. The General is an optional boss somewhere in the Cloudspire Outskirts. There is no shortage of optional bosses in Wuchang Fallen Feathers, and this is a perfect excuse to test everything you have learned before progressing the story. After defeating this boss, you will receive the longsword as a reward.

Start from the Rebel Camp and look for the Rebel Camp Key. This item is conveniently being carried around by one of the Ming warriors near the shrine. Defeat this enemy and loot the key from their remains, then follow the path to the boss.
