Blue Prince is a game full of secrets, set in the mysterious, ever-shifting estate of Mt. Holly. Each room holds secrets and mysteries that can lead you to Room 46. The Freezer is a unique room that defies the usual rule book of the manor. Typically, you lose all of your gems and gold coins at the end of each day and start the next day fresh. However, the Freezer prevents your resources from resetting by freezing your account, allowing you to carry them over to the next day. However, there is a trade-off.

How To Get the Freezer Room in Blue Prince

The Freezer is a tomorrow-type dead-end room. The rare-type rarity makes the room less likely to spawn in low ranks. Despite its great benefits, it does not require gems. Once the Freezer appears in your drafting pool, you can draft it for free.

Entering the room will automatically freeze your account, specifically your gems and gold coins. As a result, they won’t reset when you call off the day, and you will retain them the next day. But here is the catch: once they are frozen, you cannot spend or collect these resources for the rest of the day. However, this doesn’t affect your Keys, as they function normally and reset at the end of the day. 

How To Use the Freezer Room in Blue Prince

While saving your gems and gold coins for the next day can be incredibly useful, it also prevents you from using or adjusting them. Therefore, the best time to enter the Freezer room is when you are stuck with multiple dead ends and planning to call off the day. 

Moreover, upon entering the room, you notice the room has several loot and key objects. However, you cannot interact with them as they are all frozen. You need to unfreeze them to access them.

How To Unfreeze Freezer Room Items in Blue Prince

You can unfreeze the items in the Freezer Room in two different ways. Draft a room with high-temperature like Sauna or Furnace near the Freezer room. This will raise the temperature inside the Freezer and melt the ice. Additionally, your resources will also unfreeze if you stay longer in Sauna or Furnace. On the other hand, you can also use items like Burning Glass or Torch to manually thaw the items by interacting with them.
