The best way to use the Tide-Born Wildstalker in ESO would be as a placeholder set in PvE while you work on collecting the pieces for something better. The set bonuses are not bad, but in the overall meta of the game they are not the most desirable. Overall, this is not unexpected for a craftable set. Generally, because they are easier to obtain, they are typically not as powerful as others.
Player vs. Environment (PvE) – Tide-Born Wildstalker is a decent choice for a newer player looking for an easily obtainable set that can be useful in PvE situations. Assuming you have the crafting materials and/or guild members who can make it for you, this is an okay starter set. You can viably wear it as you play and collect pieces from stronger sets you will want at end-game.
Player vs. Player (PvP) – The Tide-Born Wildstalker set is not meant to be worn in PvP. Therefore, it will not be any part of the meta for player vs player combat.
