The Blue Prince offers various useful items to aid you during your run through the Mt. Holly estate. Additionally, it also gives you the ability to craft powerful contraptions like the Powerhammer in the Workshop. One of the most valuable contraptions is a Powered Electromagnet.

While its standard version detects the Coins and Keys in a room, this powerful contraption automatically collects them upon entry. But did you know you can use the Powered Electromagnet to trigger a unique interaction in one of the rooms—The Locksmith. This guide explains the Powered Electromagnet trick that allows you to obtain all keys from the Locksmith in Blue Prince.

How To Get a Powered Electromagnet in Blue Prince

Before diving into the trick, let’s first discuss how to obtain the Powered Electromagnet. As mentioned earlier, the Powered Electromagnet is one of the contraptions that you can craft at the Workshop. To craft it, you need a Compass and a Battery Pack. Once you have the required materials, craft the Powered Electromagnet at the Workshop.

The powerful contraption tool increases your chances of drafting more Mechanical Rooms in your layout. Moreover, it collects the Coins and Keys automatically upon entering a room.

How To Obtain More Free Keys Using Powered Electromagnet in Blue Prince

The Locksmith sells different keys that you can use to unlock trunks or doors during your run. It also displays a myriad of keys in the showcase. Normally, you cannot interact with them, but that’s not the case with the Powered Electromagnet.

While having the Powered Electromagnet in your inventory, draft the Locksmith and enter the room. The Powered Electromagnet automatically pulls out all the keys available for purchase at the display. You will receive 24 keys without spending anything. However, this trick doesn’t grab any special keys, which still need to be purchased from the Locksmith.
