This is why you need to be aware of which options you can take advantage of to gain the most money for the least time and effort. 10. Salvage Yard
What makes Salvage Yard the least favorable on the list is how you need to be hands-on with the business. You can hire staff to do more work, but you still need to get your hands dirty most of the time just to get some cash. It doesn’t pay much, but the import/export gameplay is quite fun to do.
9. Coke Lockup
The Coke Lockup in GTA Online is part of the Motorcycle Club businesses. The missions can be a bit tedious at times, which can be a deal breaker for some players. However, it does generate a decent amount of money. But if you want to get serious about making money, you usually pair this business with The Nightclub.

8. Meth Lab
Similar to the Coke Lab, the Meth Lab can also generate a decent amount of income. However, it also suffers from annoying missions that might not be worth the effort unless you really need the money. You only purchase this business if you plan on purchasing The Nightclub and maximizing the money generation of that business.
7. Hands On Car Wash (Money Laundering)
The Money Fronts DLC update includes the money laundering business. You get this by purchasing the Hands on Car Wash property in GTA Online. While not as lucrative as other businesses, it can actually generate passive income. However, you need to manage your side gig properly and not let the heat level get too high so the money keeps coming.
Additionally, you can keep doing the money laundering missions as long as you do a bit of car wash action once in a while to keep your heat level low enough.

6. The Nightclub
Arguably, the best way to make money in GTA Online, even with the Money Fronts update. You get around $1.6 million cash with each Sell Mission. It also includes a wall safe that can generate around $50,000 cash passively per 48 minutes.
However, the only problem is that there is so much to do in order to get this business to generate a decent amount of cash. This is because it requires you to own other businesses first. It’s very expensive to set up before you can actually make it work.
With that said, you will most likely be establishing The Nightclub as your end-game business. If you are still trying to build your career in the game, you might as well go for other businesses on this list.
5. Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid Run
If you are short of cash, you can always do a Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid contact mission. This usually takes around 30 minutes to an hour to complete. Each run rewards you with $500,000 in-game cash. However, keep in mind that there is a brief cooldown before you can do another run after completing one. You will probably do this once every few hours when you have nothing to do in the game.

4. Agency
The Agency is a must-have mainly because it is the only business in the game that can generate real passive income. It includes a safe where you don’t need to do anything for it to generate money. However, you can try and complete Agency contracts to expand how much it generates, up to $50,000 per day.
3. Acid Lab
The Acid Lab is one of the most fun businesses to get in GTA Online. You first need to complete the First Dose mission to gain access to this business. However, once you have it set up and get the upgrades, you can practically earn around $335,200 cash every sell mission.

2. Bunker
There are a lot of reasons why you would want a Bunker in GTA Online. First, this is where you can unlock weapons research and get different ammo types, weapons, and military vehicles. The next one is how you can get $50,000 cash every 48 minutes by doing one simple mission that you can do in less than 15 minutes.
However, your main money maker is the sell missions, which can go up to $1 million per session. With that said, grab a bunker as soon as possible and start doing some research while earning some money in the process.
1. Cayo Perico Heist Run
This is the best way to make money in GTA Online. Nothing is able to top the Cayo Perico Heist mission in terms of reward per time spent. Every run, you get around $1.4 million if you can complete hard mode with the elite challenge.
Just like every job mission, you can only complete it once every 48 minutes. But considering you get 1.4 million every few hours, that’s a massive payout compared to other options. In your downtime, you can manage your other business until it’s time for another heist run.
The problem is, you need to purchase the Kosatka submarine, which costs around $2.2 million in-game cash. It’s expensive, but you get your return on investment after a few hours of grind.
