As you go about exploring the map in Ark Ragnarok Ascended, you’ll stock up on several different resources. While a good chunk of these resources are safe for your inventory, the same cannot be said for items such as Raw Meat. Much like real life, carrying around Raw Meat for too long will result in it being spoiled, leading to overall wastage.
If you wish to preserve the meat and other timed items like it, you need Preserving Salt. Preserving Salt is a special item that doubles the spoil timers for items in your inventory, allowing them to last longer. The salt, however, is not found in the wild and instead needs to be crafted using Raw Salt.

In order to find the Raw Salt ingredient in Ark Ragnarok Ascended, you first need to make your way to Latitude 22.2, Longitude 65.7. This is right next to the volcano area on the map. As you approach the coordinates, you’ll find yourself at the top of a hill. Take a peek downhill, and you’ll see several piles of bones.
Approach the bones with a pickaxe and start hitting away to obtain Raw Salt. Now, not all of these bones will drop the Raw Salt ingredient. You may approach a bone and hit it with your pickaxe to get nothing. There’s no pattern or logic to what bone drops salt and what doesn’t. It seems to be based on RNG. Simply pick away at as many bones as you can to sufficiently stock up on the resource.
