Ghost of Yotei offers a wide variety of armor sets that provide perks on the battlefield. Aside from their combat advantage, they are also collectibles in their own way. Each armor features a unique design, giving you more reason to seek them out.

Body Armor

Armor Name	How to Get	Perks
Onryo Armor	The default armor you get from the start of the game.	– Killing an enemy with a Spirit Attack or a thrown Melee weapon has a minor chance of Terrifying nearby enemies. – The wolf has a moderate chance to appear when enemies are Terrified. – Terrified enemies take increased damage by a moderate amount.
Fundoshi	Visit all Hot Spring locations.	– No longer make noise when running and sprinting, at the cost of warmth.
Taro’s Armor	Seek and interact with Tato the Scavenger near the Yotei Shadow Inn.	– Increases all spirit gains by a minor amount when the cooking Spirit bonus is active. – Maximum Health increases by a minor amount. – Reduces Fire and Cold damage by a moderate amount.
Armor of the Undying	Challenge the Undying Samurai to a duel and defeat him.	If weapon-aligned, staggering enemies restores a minor amount of health. If weapon-aligned, it slightly increases Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge windows. If weapon-aligned, Focus Attacks have a minor chance to increase stagger damage.
Crimson Kimono	Finish the Crimson Kimono quest.	– Allows Chain Assassinations using Kunai (maximum 1 thrown). – Reduces enemy detection by a major amount. – Allows Kusarigama Assassinations from slightly farther away.
Mercenary Attire	Acquired while progressing through The Oni quest.	– Thrown melee weapons deal increased damage by a minor amount and grant a small amount of Spirit. – Assassinations have a moderate chance of dropping Sake. – Gain a minor amount of additional Spirit through Drinking Sake.
Spider Lily Armor	Enter the Mysterious Gate located within the estate to the south of Shizunai Woods in the Tokachi Range.	– Enemies have a minor chance to drop throwable weapons. – Stagger damage from melee weapons increases by a minor amount. – Staggering an enemy has a minor chance to deal stagger damage to nearby enemies.
Snake Skin Armor	Purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game.	– Empty Sake jars have a chance of actually being full when picked up. – Thrown Sake jars explode on impact, creating a poisonous cloud.
Robes for Sitturaynu	Finish The Heart of an Ainu quest.	-Fireflies and controller vibrations can lead to Altars of Reflection within 55m distance. -Golden Birds can direct to Shamisen Songs and Sumi-e Painting locations. -Flowers have a minor chance to be auto-collected when riding through white flower trails or sneaking through tall grass.
Dragonfly Armor	Finish The Dragonfly Armor quest.	– Fully drawing your bow creates a brief glint. Firing during the glint empowers your shot, moderately increasing damage and range. – Firing an empowered arrow grants a minor amount of Concentration. – Arrow reload speed increases by a moderate amount.
Bounty Master Armor	Confront and defeat Soma the Condemned.	– Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge windows are increased by a minor amount, but regular Parries are disabled. – A Perfect Parry enables 2 additional counterattacks. – All Spirit gains are increased by a minor amount.
Ginji’s Guard Armor	Finish the Pride Before Tea quest.	– Tanegashima reload speed increases by a minor amount. – Blocking deflects incoming bullets. – Incoming projectile damage is reduced by a major amount.
Nine Tail Armor	Defeat all enemies in the Nine Tails Hideout during the Kitsune quest.	– Quickfire weapon damage and status duration on enemies are increased by a minor amount. – Assassinating enemies has a minor chance to grant 1 Quickfire ammo. – Enemy detection is reduced by a minor amount.
