In Baldur’s Gate 3 the Circlet of Psionic Revenge is a late Act 1 headpiece that any character can wear, but would be most effective when equipped on a Githyanki party member. The first perk on this piece is available to any race which equips it. With Psionic Revenge, whenever you are successful in a Saving Throw, you will automatically cause 1-4 points of Psyhich damage to the enemy who tried to hit you.
However, Githyanki who wear this Circlet will also get a helpful +1 bonus to Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma Saving throws. Therefore, any Githyanki who wears this item is much more likely to proc the Psionic Revenge bonus.

How to Get Circlet of Psionic Revenge in BG3? Explained
To get the Circlet of Psionic Revenge in Baldur’s Gate 3 you’ll need to process through most of Act 1 before making your way though the mountain pass to Crèche Y’llek.The Mountain Pass can be found far in the northwestern corner of the map. The best way to approach it is by going north of the Blighted Village and then north past Waukeen’s Rest.
When you first approach this area a cut scene will trigger where you and your party will come across a group of Githyanki. If you have the ability, it’s highly recommend that you try and acquire the Silver Sword of the Astral Plane. After this scene at the broken bridge plays out, then you can move past it. If you are still in the very early game of Baldur’s Gate 3 it would probably be best to hold off on this for now. There is a ton of content and things to do and see on this main Act 1 map.
Once you’ve traveled the Mountain Pass, you’ll be looking for the Rosymorn Monastery. You’ll find it to the northeast of where you start near the Trielta Crags waypoint. Getting inside takes a bit of exploring. Keep an eye out for roots and vines to climb and you can reach an area with a boarded up doorway. Destroy the planks to get inside.
Next, jump down from the damaged stairs on the east side of the Monastery. Below, you’ll find another set of stairs leading to the Creche. Here you’ll not only find a lot of loot but also a ton of relevant story content.
Additionally, while at the Creche for the Circlet of Psionic Revenge, be sure to also get the legendary Blood of Lathander and one of the permanent bonuses from Zaith’isk Chair.
Inside Crèche Y’llek
There is a lot that happens story-wise in the Creche and we wont’ spoil it for you here. Suffice it to say that eventually all roads will lead you into the Inquisitor’s Chambers where you will meet a very important lore individual. This will trigger another very interesting scene where you enter the Astral Prism. When you return, there will be a fight. You will have to engage in combat with some very angry Githyanki.
Inquisitor Ch’r’ai W’wargaz is the leader and should be nearby in the space you return to. Other Githyanki will be spread out around the room, some firing at you with arrows from elevated spaces. They can gain Advantage while doing so, so don’t hesitate to send a strong melee party member over to take care or them. Or use a range character to disrupt them from afar.
Once you’ve defeated them all, go back and find Inquisitor Ch’r’ai W’wargaz’s body. He will have the Circlet of Psionic Revenge for you to loot!
How to Use the Circlet of Psionic Revenge in BG3?
The best way to use the Circlet of Psionic Revenge in BG3 is by equipping it to a Githyanki character of any class or build. If you don’t have a custom Githyanki character, then equipping it to a Lae’zel is also a good option. The bonuses on the Circlet of Psionic Revenge are passive, and don’t require any further action on your part to trigger them while in combat.
Tips and Tricks for Circlet of Psionic Revenge in BG3
These are the best tips and tricks for finding and using Circlet of Psionic Revenge in Baldur’s Gate 3:
- Story events will lead to a fight with the Githyanki in the Inquisitor’s Chambers, and it’s best to let them play out rather than to preemptively attack.
