Not only can the players purchase the in-game items, but they will also be able to sell the items they have acquired to other players to obtain Lucent. Purchasing anything from the Auction House requires Lucent, so with Lucent in your account, you can’t purchase any item from the Marketplace. Selling the item in an auction is a little bit tricky as you need to understand how listing works and what items you can list or cannot.
What Is the Auction House in Throne & Liberty?
The Auction in Throne and Liberty is an in-game market from which players can trade several items with one another. Lucent is the only currency that is used in Auction House to purchase valuable items in the game. You need to earn some amount of Lucent in order to purchase any item from the Auction House. However, you can become a trader in Throne & Liberty without purchasing any Lucent.
Auction House in Throne and Liberty is a focal point for the player-driven economy through which you can trade valuable items and gear with other players. You can only list the base-level gear on Auction House. The items that you can Buy or Sell at the Auction House are:
- Armor: Selection of armor for different playstyles
- Weapons: Powerful and visually stunning weapons.
- Crafting Materials: Ores and other valuable materials used in crafting
- Accessories: Amulets, Rings, and other gear pieces.
You can farm and sell all of these items to gain Lucent and purchase the items you require without consuming any real money in Throne and Liberty. All transactions occur through the Auction House because there’s no direct player-to-player trading.

How to Sell an Item in the Auction House?
Starting with Selling, one must know that you cannot sell everything at the Auction House, but some can. Keep in mind that, you need to follow up on the market price while listing.

Search for the item in the Buy item section if the lowest price of the item is lower than the higher or average price. In the Buy item section, you can check if someone is selling the item cheaper or more expensive. Stick to the average price or go along with the unusual pricing if you encounter cases like these.

Tips for Buying and Selling in Auction House
Selling the item in Throne and Liberty is the best option in many scenarios. If you sell the item below the average price then the chances of selling that specific item increase to the maximum. However, selling any item above the average price means that the item will take some time to sell. Selling at a higher price is beneficial if you see that the item has high demand in the market, but there will be a risk if you’re wrong about its demand, and as a result, the item will not be sold easily. Selling the item at an average price is the best bet for Throne and Liberty.
After deciding the price of an item click on the Confirm button to list your desired item. Once your item is sold, you’ll earn Lucent and it’ll be added to your account. However, the tax will also be deducted from the Lucent you earn by selling the item. The Tax Rate is a base rate of 20%, including the extra amount set by the Guild in control of Stonegard Castle.
Furthermore, buying from the Auction House means you’re looking to maximize the value of your Lucent. Before purchasing, search to see if the item is available and if so, how many are for sale. Strongly desired items will not only have a high price, but may not be available as often. If there are several of the same item for sale, however, you might benefit from waiting a day to see if any sellers drop their price.
Why Auction House is important in Throne and Liberty?
Auction House is crucial in Throne and Liberty as it allows the players to get premium currency, Lucent, in the game. You can utilize Lucent to buy the Game Battle Pass, including the premium part. However, in the Korean version, real money is necessary to buy the game battle pass. The important pillar of Throne and Liberty’s business model is Auction House. This is probably the most concerning thing that every player needs to take care of.
There are two types of currency in Throne and Liberty: Sollant, which is the game’s common currency, and Lucent, which is the game’s premium currency. Lucent is referred to as a premium currency because it can be bought with real money or selling the items at an Auction House. This currency is good for buying Cosmetics directly from Auction House. If you want to buy an item from another player then you must use the premium currency Lucent as there’s no other method for players to trade the items.
You can use real money to buy Lucent and purchase gear from the Auction House. Gear that is allowed to be listed on the auction house will be base gear only. F2P players can sell on the auction house in Throne and Liberty. Listing items doesn’t need any Lucent.
If you get a reward or drop from the dungeons and want to sell it, you list it in the Auction House. If someone purchases it, you earn Lucent. You can use Lucent to purchase your own cosmetics, battle passes, or anything valuable. Players can visit the Auction house anytime they want and purchase the required items using Lucent. They can also sell the materials to earn Lucent.
Which currency to use in Auction House?
There are two types of currencies in Throne and Liberty, one is Sollant and the other is Lucent. However, in Auction House you use Lucent to trade or buy any item. You can purchase the Lucent in Throne and Liberty by spending real money but that’ll be costly.
The only ways of getting Lucent are by buying real money from anti-soft, participating in a castle siege, and trading at the auction house. You can sell valuable items at the Auction House to get a huge amount of Lucent. Trading the items in the Auction House is the best way to maximize your chance of earning Lucent without investing real-life money.
Purchase Armor, mounts, weapons, and some unique gear that are hard to get in the game. You can customize your character’s appearance with mounts, effects, and unique outfits through cosmetic items achieved from Auction House. Get access to the additional skill upgrades and attributes using the Lucent. It can be used to get an edge in gameplay challenges and combat in the game. To get Lucent, you can sell high-demand traits, Rune hammers, or food at Auction House.
