The Starving Giant Zombie is one of the easiest bosses of Taedal’s Tower in Throne and Liberty.
Taedal’s Tower is a secret dungeon in the recently launched MMO Throne and Liberty. It tests your combat skills with a series of 20 boss battles. The difficulty increases as you make your way up the floors.
What Is the Required Level for Starving Giant Zombie?
Powerful bosses await you on each floor of Taedal’s Tower. After completing the first two floor bosses, Chief Orc Gatekeeper and Venomous Queen Spider, you will encounter the Starving Giant Zombie on the third floor. The Starving Giant Zombie is not that difficult to defeat, but you must be Level 19 to take on this challenge.
Defeating Floor 3 Starving Giant Zombie in Throne and Liberty
The Starving Giant Zombie is a regular boss without any complex mechanisms. It does not take that much effort to defeat him.
Unlike the other boss battles, you will be accompanied by an NPC during this one. When you enter the arena, you will notice the Lost Adventurer. Although she can fight and attack on her own, you need to protect her from the zombies throughout the battle. In return, she will heal you when you stand within a certain radius.
At the start of the battle, you have to defeat four Starving Zombies. The Starving Giant Zombie will spawn after that. One more Starving Zombie will spawn at after you defeat the boss. Here’s what you need to know about the attack patterns of the Starving Giant Zombie:
- The Starving Giant Zombie will periodically throw projectiles towards you. Avoid them or perfect block them if the purple circle is timed correctly.
- Using both hands, he will smash the ground and cause AoE damage. Avoid them by moving sideways. Protect the Lost Adventurer because this smash will do substantial damage to her.
- During the battle, the Lost Adventurer will say “Come behind me! I’ll protect you” at a point. You can hide behind her to avoid getting hit by the Starving Giant Zombie attacks at that moment.
Best Weapons to Use Against Starving Giant Zombie
Ranged weapons such as Crossbow, Long crossbow, or Staff are recommended against the Starving Giant Zombie. The Starving Zombies will explode once defeated, so using ranged attacks is the best option for this battle. Since the Starving Giant Zombie doesn’t move and inflict ranged attacks, you should have no problem dodging his attacks.

Defeating the Floor 3 boss Starving Giant Zombie rewards the following items:

- Quality Accessory Growthstone (3)
- Recovery Crystal (5)
- Sollant and XP points
This will also unlock the battle with Incomplete Giant Goblin, the boss of Floor 4 Whirling Goblins.
