Find out what you need to take down the challenging yet rewarding Excavator Guild Boss in Throne and Liberty.
Throne and Liberty has a long list of enemies that players can take on in intense combat. Some of the enemies can be more challenging than others. Guild Bosses are one such enemy type, with various Raid Bosses appearing out in the open world and during Guild Raid activities. The Excavator is a level 28 Guild Boss, which means that you should take the boss on only if you have teammates that have characters past this level.
You can find the Excavator Guild Boss in Monolith Ruins to the North of the Titanreach Ruins Waypoint. However, once your Guild reaches level 9, you and your Guildmates can take Excavator on in the Guild Hall. In this article, we will break down what attacks you need to look out for to come out on top against Excavator in Throne and Liberty.
What are Excavator’s Attacks in Throne and Liberty?
When the fight against Excavator begins, players will have to deal with a combination of close-range attacks as well as powerful AoE attacks. During this phase, your Guild needs to focus on dealing as much damage as you possibly can to Excavator. In addition to this, Excavator has a huge wind-up for an AoE attack that can damage your entire Guild. However, the attack can be easily avoided by jumping at the right time.
During the battle, Excavator can also shout ‘Wide-range Operation’. This signifies that the boss is preparing for its deadly Fury attack. You can also tell this through the purple indicator over the boss. With this attack, Excavator spins around three times. While you should dodge the first two hits, you can block at the right time to get a perfect block with the third hit.
Apart from this, the boss has a 3-attack combo that it can unleash at any time. This combo features a slam, a ground stamp, and a large AoE attack caused by a punch that deals a lot of damage. You and your Guild mates need to avoid these attacks by jumping at the right time.
