Assassin’s Creed Shadows has many organizations that you have to go against as part of the narrative. However, not every one of them is a serious murderer with a big evil plan. One such group is The Yokai. Yokai is a term used in Japanese folklore to describe a broad category of supernatural beings, such as ghosts and spirits. 

The Yokai that you are looking for will be normal humans who are misunderstood as Yokai due to special circumstances. However, this series of quests ends with a rather unexpected twist. The twist is the hidden seventh member that is revealed at the end of the quest.

All The Yokai Targets in Assassin’s Creed Shadows – How To Unlock and Rewards

The Yokai quest board and its associated targets become available after you locate and talk to Mamushi at Nyoiji Daiji Temple in the Hills of Meeting. The Hills of Meeting is a location just east of Kyoto. Do note that if you come across a Yokai before talking to Mamushi, the Yokai target board will not unlock, and it won’t appear in your Objectives menu.

All The Yokai Locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

These are the locations of each of The Yokai targets:

• Kappa – They appear at night near a flowing river. It is directly to the east of the Haunted Tatarigami Village, on the riverside downhill.
• Bakemono – You can find him in Suika Lands. It is on the northeastern edge of the Izumi Settsu region. The place you are looking for is in the northern section of the Yawata Plains. They only appear in the Summer and Fall seasons.
• Yuki Onna – You can find Yuki Onna in the lake near Kawachi Kaza-ana Cave. It is on the eastern side of Lake Biwa in Omi. Moreover, she only appears during the Winter season.
• Daitengu – He is at the Arima Onsen in the Harima region. The onsen is located northeast of Kakogawa Estuary and west of Nishinomiya Shrine.
• Oshiroi Baba – She is at her house, which is south of the Nara Heartland. It is in the region of Yamato. Additionally, she only appears at night.
• Taka Nyudo – He is at the village of Kobasaba, in Tamba. The village is on the southernmost side of the region, which is just southwest of Narutaki Falls.
• Ao Andon – Ao Andon is the hidden seventh member of The Yokai. She appears at Nyoiji Daiji Temple after you are told to talk to Mamushi. It is on the eastern side of the Yamashiro region. This ends the questline of The Yokai.
