Blue Prince: How To Solve Lost and Found Puzzle

In Blue Prince, you have to keep drafting newer rooms in the Mount Holly estate until you reach the mysterious room number 46. Throughout your journey, you’ll keep discovering newer journeys through every run. And with each new room, you will also find new and weird puzzles to solve. The Lost and Found puzzle in Blue Prince is one of these, and solving it can be highly beneficial for you. In this guide, we’ll explore how to solve the puzzle and what permanent bonus you get from doing so.

How To Solve the Lost and Found Puzzle in Blue Prince

You will need to draft the Lost and Found Room first before you can attempt this puzzle. The secret floor plan for the room is found when you descend through the Foundation and enter the Basement. Keep in mind that to enter the Basement, you’ll need to possess the Basement Key, which is in the Antechamber. Also, digging up the Lost and Found Room floor plan requires you to have a shovel in your inventory, so get that.

With the floor plan, you can finally draft the Lost and Found Room. The room will give you two rare items when you enter for the first time. However, you’ll also lose a random item from your inventory every time you enter.

Entering the room reveals a table marked Lost and Found, where you can find the puzzle piece. The 3×3 box puzzle has five pink-colored tiles and four gray tiles. The object of the puzzle is to make each of the four corner tiles on the box pink. To do this, simply follow the method below:

• Step 1: Press once on the top row, middle pink tile.
• Step 2: Press twice on the middle row, right-hand side pink tile.
• Step 3: Press once on the bottom row middle pink tile. This should make all four corners of the box pink.
• Step 4: Click once on all four corner buttons at the edge of the box. They’ll light up pink, and the box will open.

What’s the Reward for Solving the Lost and Found Puzzle in Blue Prince

Opening the puzzle box rewards you with an Allowance Token. This item will permanently increase the number of gold coins you start each day with by 2. There are multiple such puzzle boxes in different Blue Prince rooms, so unlocking all of them can significantly increase the gold available to you at the start of every day. Keep in mind that to get this effect, you’ll need to end the current day and begin a new one.
