After the most significant expansion this year, the Lightfall players can’t wait for the new season 21 to drop, and the Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Release Date is just around the corner.
The new Season is the 21st season in Destiny 2, called Seaosn of the Deep, there were many speculations and slight hints on what’s coming next.
Destiny 2 Season 21 Release Date – Season of the Deep
The Season of the Deep release date is set on 23rd May 2023. As always, it’ll presumably start on the weekly reset at
- 5 PM GMT 23rd May 2023
- 10 AM PT 23rd May 2023
- 1 PM ET 23rd May 2023
Class and Subclass Changes
Many changes and improvements are coming with the new season. Firstly, the Bungie team recently posted an Abilities Tunning Preview Article that lists all subclass and class changes.
Exotic Focusing Changes
However, the most noticeable change is the new Exotic focusing. Exotic Weapons and armor are the most important gear pieces in Destiny 2. In Season 21, exotic engrams will no longer auto-decrypt but will have to be focused by Master Rahool in the Tower(except for those dropped in Lost Sectors, Vex Strike Force and Nightfalls).

The Story
The Season of the Deep is the 21st Season in Destiny 2. It tells a continuation of the story, known as the Dark and Light Saga. After Lightfall, the new season will push narration closer to the “Final Shape”.
