- First of all, chop some wood and gather at least 2 logs.
- Place the logs in the grid of the crafting table and get all eight planks out of it. Now, place one plank in the crafting table to get four sticks out of it.
- In the crafting table, place two of the sticks, one at the bottom row of the middle column and one in the middle of the grid. Right above it, place one plank.
This will instantly craft your first wooden shovel. This shovel will make a significant difference in digging through diggable blocks, saving you a good portion of your time. Shovels can further be enhanced with enchanted books to make them even more efficient.
