Cementing Paste serves as a foundation for crafting advanced items and structures. Here is how to acquire it in Ark Ragnarok Ascended.
With the launch of Ragnarok Ascended DLC, ARK: Survival Ascended introduced a new 144 square kilometers map. The free DLC reintroduced the fan-favorite Ragnarok map with enhanced visuals and features. Among the valuable resources scattered across the expansive map, Cementing Paste is notable. The valuable resource is used in crafting various recipes, especially advanced items and structures.
You can use Cementing Paste to craft weapons like Auto Turrets, Compound Bow, and Cannon, as well as structures like Greenhouse Structures, Elevator Structures, and Industrial Forges. Some factions even use Cementing Paste as a form of currency due to its worth. While generally Cementing Paste can be created using Chitin, Keratin, and Stone at a Mortar and Pestle, there is a much more efficient way to farm it in Ark Ragnarok Ascended.
How To Obtain Cementing Paste in Ark Ragnarok Ascended
The best method to farm Cementing Paste is by looting the Giant Beaver Dams. These wooden structures are built by beavers along the riverbeds. You can find valuable items like Silica Pearls and Rare Mushrooms inside these dams, which are collected and stored by beavers. The Giant Beaver Dams come in several different types, with the small dams even located underwater.
Locating the Giant Beaver Dams is not a challenging task. Following the rivers is an effective way to spot them. You can actually find multiple dams in the redwood area, located southeast of the ice biome. To be precise, you should head to the coordinates of Latitude 37.8 and Longitude 76.6.
Another reliable spot is the river west of the volcanic area around coordinates 24.2, 44.5. This location also contains larger versions of Giant Beaver Dams. These larger dams typically hold a greater quantity of resources, allowing you to gather a lot of Cementing Paste. However, be cautious, as the beavers may become hostile and attack you if they catch you raiding their dams.
