In Enshrouded, gathering the right materials is key to building, crafting, and surviving, and Conifer Logs are among the most essential and durable resources. These sturdy logs are used in everything from constructing shelters to crafting tools and furniture. In this guide, we’ll cover where to find Conifer Logs, how to get them, and what they are used for.
How to Get Conifer Logs in Enshrouded
You can get Conifer Logs in Enshrouded by chopping down large trees found in the Albaneve Summits region. Furthermore, to access this region, you will need to Strengthen your Flame Altar to Level 6.
If you have already found and reached the top of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire, then you can easily use the fast travel point to return. Once you arrive, head to the eastern side of the spire and glide off in that direction.
Additionally, you will need an Axe to chop down trees in Enshrouded. Remember that the better quality axe you have, the faster you will be able to gather materials. You can also use Skill Points to unlock an ability called Lumberjack (2 points). With this skill active, your axe will deal 30% more damage against wooden objects including trees.
What are Conifer Logs, and what are they used for?
In Enshrouded you’ll use Conifer Logs to create building blocks, multiple wood furnishings, and shields. Additionally, you can combine Conifer Logs with Water and Fertilized Farm Soil at a seedbed to generate Conifer Tree Seedlings. These seedlings can then be planted in the ground at your stronghold. Therefore, making it easier to harvest more conifer logs whenever you need them.
Next, you can also use Conifer Logs to craft a couple of different shields if you’re playing a warrior build. Both the Wolf’s Fang Shield and the Mountain’s Shadow Shield will require 4 Conifer Logs each. Here are the full recipes for both of these shields:
- Wolf’s Fang Shield – 4 Conifer Logs, 3 Silver Bars, 2 Charcoal
- Mountain’s Shadow Shield – 2 Padding, 3 Coal, 4 Conifer Logs, 3 Steel Bars
