In Baldur’s Gate 3, The Titanstring Bow is a fantastic range weapon based on the Strength modifier, and you can get it from the vendor in Act 1 – this short Guide Explains everything you need to know about the Titanstring Bow in BG3.
Titanstring Bow
In Baldur’s Gate 3, The Titanstring Bow is a fantastic weapon in the early stages of Act 1. This weapon’s unique feature sets it apart, adding your Strength modifier to your damage output. To increase this weapon’s power you can temporarily boost your Strength to 21 using consumables like the Elixir of Hill Giant Strength, which lasts until a long rest, or Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength, to maximize the effectiveness of the Titanstring Bow. Consume the potion right after resting, especially when anticipating challenging battles. This combination results in significant damage potential with each shot.
It’s important to note that proficiency with Longbows is required to use this weapon, so the Elf race is an excellent choice. Classes that will benefit from it are Rogue, Ranger, Barbarian, Fighter, or Paladin classes. You can equip it to your character’s main hand weapon slot in the inventory, providing additional bonuses and buffs. The user needs Martial Weapon proficiency or suffers penalties while wearing the weapon. You can equip it on any class, companion, or character that has Martial Weapon proficiency.
