Does AI Play a Role in the Voice Acting in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2?
Over the past few years, the gaming industry has discovered new ways to integrate AI into games to improve performance or make them more immersive. While players tend to laud these efforts, AI voice acting technology is nowhere near the real deal. With the release of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, there have been reports from some players about AI voice acting in parts of the game. While Warhorse Studios has remained silent about these allegations, you can find YouTube videos where players have allegedly discovered specific lines that were recorded using AI.

Reported Use of AI Voice in the French Version of the Game
Some Steam users have also reported that the AI voice acting is more apparent in non-English versions of the game, especially French. They claim that constantly hearing the machine-generated voices is hampering their immersion in the title.
However, these artificially generated voices are reportedly limited to minor NPCs. The voice acting in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 for all major characters is human-performed. So, regardless of the language you choose, voices for Henry, Hans Capon, and other major characters should sound great.
