While Ethan Klein claimed that he built his career on his own, HasanAbi owes his success to well-known political streamer, Destiny.
HasanAbi and Ethan Klein have been at odds for almost a year. But the rivalry between HasanAbi and Destiny is far older; for years, the two have frequently ridiculed one another.
In a February 5, 2025, episode of the H3 Podcast, Ethan Klein asserted that Steven “Destiny” Bonnell is responsible for the success of Twitch star “HasanAbi” Piker’s streaming career. This statement was made during the same broadcast where Klein revealed that he would be releasing another video about HasanAbi after his earlier “Content Nuke” received a lot of attention from the streaming community.
Klein indicated that HasanAbi, one of the most popular political streamers on Twitch, “literally” owes his career to Destiny because of their previous connections while he was watching the streamer’s older videos on the H3 Podcast. He said:
“The projection is unreal, he is so insecure. Bro, this is you. You literally owe your entire career to Destiny, bro.”

After asserting that Destiny shaped HasanAbi’s career, Ethan Klein turned the discussion to his own, stressing that he developed it “by himself” with a few people’s assistance. He went on to say:
“I built this sh*t on my own! You want to talk about somebody who built this sh*t on my own, it was me motherf**ker. Suck it, bcha**. I got nobody to thank. I mean, I have some people to thank, but like, nobody to be like, ‘You made me.'”
Additionally, he discussed the “years” of adversity he faced as he developed his career as a political content creator. Talking about the people who helped him along the way, he said:
“Listen, there are people who helped me along the way. But I built this thing painstakingly brick by brick. Years of f**king crawling through the mud, experimenting all this sh*t, you know what I mean?”
Additionally, after mocking HasanAbi’s voice, Klein joked that the streamer had experienced a “second puberty,” referring to the recent controversy surrounding Pirate Software. He said:
“The voice is a little high-pitched. Did he hit second-puberty?”
Moreover, Klein criticized HasanAbi once again, implying that his family and others were primarily responsible for his career. Additionally, he also called HasanAbi a misogynist. The streamer said:
“Must be nice to just have someone give you a career. Oh yeah, that’s what happened before you went to Twitch too. Because your uncle gave you a f**king job.”
