In the Isolation level, Mio and Zoe will have to face various challenges and obstacles in the Sci-Fi half of Split Fiction’s world. It is the sixth chapter in the game, and it is filled with many fun missions such as a pinball mission, a drone mission, a prison courtyard, and many more. However, in this article we will be talking about only the Cell Blocks section in Isolation. It takes place right after the Pinball Lock and Waste Depot levels.

Cell Blocks Mission in Split Fiction: Isolation

In true Split Fiction fashion, the Cell Blocks section has a lot of puzzles for you to solve. To be more precise, there are a total of seven puzzles in this level and right now, we will walk you through all of them.

To reach the first puzzle, first you will have to enter the interior of the Cell Blocks building. Then make your way towards the floating platforms and they will take you to some poles. Climb onto those poles, then jump onto the blades of the giant fan over the red fluid and keep moving forward. After a short cutscene, you will meet the first puzzle of the level.

Puzzle 1

Once the cutscene ends, you will have to fight some robots and drones. In this scenario, Zoe and Mio will have different tasks to perform. Mio will have to hack into the purple drones and shoot at the enemy with it while Zoe takes care of the green robots. Then, you will notice a giant dome-like structure in the middle of the platform. You need to destroy that.

Whenever you find the opportunity, as Zoe, move towards one of the green domes and use your magnetic powers to open them. Then shoot at the exposed core with Mio to damage and eventually destroy it.

Puzzle 2

Hack and Float

After you have solved the first puzzle and moved forward, you will come across a dead end. But it is not how it seems because that is the second puzzle. This one is quite simple in theory. You can then hack into the device hanging between the platforms as Mio and swing your way to the other side. Additionally, Zoe will have to use her magnetic powers again and float between the green walls above to follow her friend.

Puzzle 3

You will have to do some platforming once you reach the other side. But if you keep going, you will find yourselves in front of a console with many large containers behind it. It is the third puzzle. In this situation, Mio will have to use the console to move the containers so Zoe can make her way to the other side.

If you are playing as Zoe, use her magnetic powers to navigate through the containers and once you reach the next area, release the purple hacking device from its constraints so Mio can use it to reach you.

Puzzle 4

In the next area, you will find some green hackable walls. Float in between them as Zoe, like you have done earlier, and use Mio’s powers to control and slowly move the green wall on the right side.

Once you reach the end, Zoe will have to drop down to another set of magnetic walls while Mio can just walk to the next path and continue their journey of the Cell Blocks in Split Fiction’s Isolation chapter.

Puzzle 5

Now, the next is the Tazer Bot, it has three different puzzles, and it can be quite confusing. You can be sure that you have reached the proper location once you see the Max Security sign in front of you. But let’s get back to the problem at hand.

The first thing you will need to do is hack into the Tazer Bot on the other side as Mio and send a pole for your fellow companion. Now, turn the green part of the device towards Zoe, and smash into it in a way that sends it back to the platform you can from. Additionally, you can also unlock the Tazed and Confused Trophy if you hit Zoe with the pole too many times.

Puzzle 6

Once the Tazer Bot is on your side of the platform, the second part of the puzzle begins. Just like earlier, Zoe will have to use her magnetic abilities to send the Tazer Bot to the platform right of the Max Security sign. After that, Mio will have to send a pole to Zoe so she can reunite with her again.

Then, extend another pole towards the left side of the gate that is blocking your way. Walk on the pole to reach the other side of said gate as Zoe. After that, move the pole right below the gate.

Zoe will then be able to jump onto it and use her abilities to open the gate for Mio. Once the gate is opened, throw the Tazer Bot to the other side, just like you have done so far. However, it is not over yet.

The moment Mio makes it to the other side, the gate will close. When that happens, extend a pole under the gate, and once Zoe jumps onto it, move towards the left side of Zoe, and then she will be able to simply walk to the platform her friend is on.

Puzzle 7

We have finally arrived at the last puzzle of Cell Blocks in Split Fiction. It is quite lengthy so to make things easier for you, we will break it down to different steps below:

  1. You will find another giant metal gate blocking your way.
  2. Place a pole on the left side of the gate, just like you did before.
  3. As Zoe, walk on the pole and move towards the other side of the gate.
  4. Mio will then have to move the pole to the middle of said gate.
  5. Keep moving the pole to the right until Zoe finds an opening to reach the next area.
  6. Zoe will then have to use the magnetic platform to move towards the platform right in front of her.
  7. Then take a left as Zoe and push another green box, it will provide a platform which the Tazer Bot and Mio can move towards.
  8. After that, the platform will automatically move Mio to Zoe’s platform.

Once you have done all of the above, simply connect a pole to the yellow glowing structure on the floating container to the left. The Tazer Bot will attach itself to it and give you a grapple point, which you can use to move to the next area.

Lastly, hack into the prison cell hanging above as Mio and open its gate. Zoe can then jump onto it by using the green magnetic platform right in front of her, and that will be the end of the Cell Blocks section in Split Fiction’s Isolation level.
