Throne and Liberty: All Gear Sets and How to Get Them

Discover all of the Gear Sets you can obtain in Throne and Liberty, set bonuses, traits, drop locations, and how to get them!

In Throne and Liberty, certain pieces of gear are part of a ‘set’, and when you collect and wear two or four pieces of a set, then you gain passive bonuses for your character. Therefore, gear sets are highly desirable because you receive not only the base defensive stats but additional bonuses on top. Moreover, pairing the right gear set with your chosen weapons and build will positively impact your character’s power.

There are gear sets for every role in Throne and Liberty, and obtaining these sets will be part of the end-game progression as you grind to make your character stronger than before. Additionally, just like any other regular piece of gear in Throne and Liberty, you can also upgrade your item sets with Growthstones. Furthermore, if you already have gear you’ve invested a lot of materials into, you can use the gear transfer mechanic in the gear enchanting system to port all of that experience over to your new gear piece.

All Gear Sets in Throne and Liberty

There are a total of 28 gear sets in Throne and Liberty, with more to be added in the future, and each set offers a unique two, three, or four piece bonus. Here are all of the Gear Sets in Throne and Liberty:

• Chief Commander Set – Damage reduction and increased block chance
• Dawn Mist Set – Increased ranged and magic evasion, and increased bonus damage

• Elder Set – Increase DoT damage on Weaken, boost to skill heal

Abyss Slayer Set

All Features and set bonus for Abyss Slayer in Throne and Liberty:

• Name: Abyss Slayer Set
• Level: Epic Level 2
• Set Bonus
  • Two Piece Bonus: Max Damage +20
  • Four Piece Bonus: Critical Hit +100. On dealing Critical Hits, Health increases by 5% of damage dealt.
• Recommended Weapon: Daggers

The Abyss Slayer set is meant for damage-dealing builds, and its bonuses will increase your overall Max Damage by 20 points and also give you a boost to your Critical Hit stat. Additionally, it would be an especially good set for a Dagger build which was also using the Guardian Pale Nemesis Hartach. This burst damage guardian gives you a free Hide action when you kill an enemy within 3 seconds. Consequently, what makes it work so well with the Abyss Slayer set is that while you are in stealth, the first attack you make will be a guaranteed critical hit.

The Dawn Mist set is a good choice for a Crossbow and Dagger build because it boosts your evasion against physical and magical ranged attacks and provides a boost to your bonus damage. The two-piece bonus with the increase to ranged and magic evasion is nice but what really makes this set great is the bonus damage. Furthermore, not only do you get a +35 increase when wearing four pieces of this set, but the individual pieces themselves also come with small increases to bonus damage. When you have the full set, the culmination of these boosts will have a strong impact on your DPS.

The Death Set will grant your character strong buffs to critical damage and attack speed when you are wearing four pieces of the set. However, the two-piece bonus to critical damage cannot be stacked with any other buff to the same stat. Consequently, there are limitations to how much critical damage you can accumulate. However, this is another set that could work well with the Pale Nemesis Hartach Guardian. His ability guarantees you a critical hit from stealth, and the Death Set would make the impact damage from that much more powerful.

The Dimensional Chaos set is made up of only two rings, instead of armor pieces, and therefore only has a two-piece bonus. When you are wearing both of these ring accessories, you will improve your stamina regen by 10. Therefore, this would be a good passive for tank builds, who depend on defensive skills that cost stamina.

Additionally, these rings do not drop from boss monsters and only come from certain containers or by crafting them.

• Recommended Weapon: Wand and Tome

The Elder Set would be an effective gear choice for any player running a damage-over-time build due to the incredible DPS boost. When you have two pieces of this set equipped you increase your skill damage over time by 4%. However, to trigger the secondary effect you will have to have a skill or other way to inflict the Weaken status effect on your enemies. Then, anytime you can inflict Weaken you will boost your skill damage over time by another 12%. There is a limit to this, however, as you can only stack the effect a max of 3 times.
