The teppo is a long rifle that Yasuke can fire at enemies, dealing heavy damage. While there are a number of teppo you can unlock in the game, one of them is the legendary-tier Wave of Wasps. In this guide, we’ll dive deep into unlocking the Wave of Wasps teppo in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. We’ll also briefly discuss the engraving that the weapon has, which makes it a valuable item to acquire.

How To Unlock the Wave of Wasps Teppo in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

You can only unlock this particular teppo as part of a side quest titled Genzaburo’s Soldiers. In the quest, you’ll meet a man named Koshiro, who’ll ask you to kill all of the members of his former unit, collectively known as Genzaburo’s Soldiers. While the quest tasks you with tracking down and killing five members of the unit, you’ll need to slay the Teppo Expert to get your hands on the Wave of Wasps teppo.

You’ll find this target to the northeast of Engyoji, in a place called Harima. Specifically, the Teppo Expert is at the Kaya Shrine in the northwestern part of Harima. Once you get close enough, the game will mark the enemy you need to kill. Get ready for a challenging fight. Keep in mind that you can only attempt this mission as Naoe, which means you’ll have to be quick on your feet to land fast strikes while dodging incoming blows.

After you beat the Teppo Expert, the Wave of Wasps teppo will unlock automatically.

How To Use Wave of Wasps Teppo in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The legendary teppo is the perfect weapon to rely on when you’re taking on armored enemies. It has an engraving that increases your armor-piercing ability by 32% if you are stationary while taking the shot. So, you can easily start off fights with unaware armored enemies using this teppo, taking off a chunk of their health despite their armor protection. Also, you can use the Hideout’s blacksmith to engrave another perk into the weapon, making it even more powerful.
