Assassin’s Creed Shadows Animus Hub Projects Guide: Current Projects, Rewards, and More

The Animus Hub is a new feature that will be featured in all Assassin’s Creed games. Here are the Projects in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Ubisoft has launched a new system called the Animus Hub in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The feature focuses on Memories, Vault, Exchanges, and Projects, a battle-pass-style system. Moving forward, this will be included in all upcoming AC games, similar to Call of Duty HQ.

While the first three features are straightforward and need no explanation, the latter comes with numerous properties that can be hectic to press. Here’s a detailed rundown of the Projects feature in the Animus Hub of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

What Are Projects in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

As the battle-pass system is a norm in the gaming industry in 2025, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has implemented it in a single-player game. In Animus Hub, you can access the ever-changing Projects. Currently, there are two of them available.

The two Projects have numerous awards ranging from weapons, armor, and keys for you to unlock. While weapons and armor are in-game usable, the keys are used in Animus Hub’s exchange section to retrieve further rewards.

Unlike other passes, the Projects are free for all players. You can complete the Battle Pass tasks called Anomalies to level up your Project tiers. In Anomalies, you must collect Data Fragments. However, these tasks have a limited time, and you need to strategize every move to save yourself enough time to complete the four tasks.

Current Projects

In the Animus Hub, you can only select one Project at a time. Currently, there are two Projects called ‘The Legacy’ and ‘Awakening.’ However, the third is yet to arrive sometime later in the future.

Once you select one of them, you will be able to complete their Anomalies to level up and unlock rewards.

Rewards

While there are 21 tiers for each Project, most of them focus on the in-game currencies. Here are the rewards for The Legacy Project and Awakening Projects you can use on Naoe and Yasuke.

  • Cerulean Nexus – Yasuke
  • Cerulean Guise Hood – Naoe
  • Cerulean Puzzle Trinket – Trinket
  • Cerulean Glitch – Yasuke
  • Cerulean Guise Kosode – Naoe
  • Cerulean Flux – Naoe
  • Cerulean Guise Mask – Yasuke
  • Cerulean Core – Yasuke
  • Cerulean Arc – Naoe
  • Cerulean Guise Armor – Yasuke

Keys

From the Project reward tiers, you’ll also retrieve Keys which can be used to redeem awards in the Exchange section of Animus Hub. In the Hub, you can go to the Exchange section and redeem either the daily or weekly rewards of your preference.
