How To Beat Takahashi Jiro (The Twisted Tree) in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Takahashi Jiro is a member of The Twisted Tree whom you must eliminate in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Here’s how you can do it.

Twisted Tree is an organization comprising seven family members in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Takahashi Jiro is one of the family members you need to assassinate to complete a chain of quests called The Twisted Tree. From some side missions, you get information about each family member and slowly understand how they terrorize the people of Kyoto.

Location of Takahashi Jiro in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

You can find Takahashi Jiro patrolling the southern side of the Honnoji Temple in Kyoto, which is northeast of the Toji Temple as shown in the image above. From the clues you obtain, you can find him in the southern part of Kyoto in the Yamashiro region. 

His location changes depending on whether you kill Takahashi Inoshichi or not. If you did not kill Inoshichi, his location remains to the south of Honnoji Temple. However, if you kill Jiro’s father, he shows up to the estate to fight you alongside his surviving brothers.

How To Beat Takahashi Jiro in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Takahashi Jiro is a rather easy opponent among the other Takahashi family members. We recommend using Naoe to defeat him as he only has three health chunks. Naoe can easily assassinate him with skills that are available very early on in the game. If you do not manage to finish him off with assassination, deflect his attacks to make him vulnerable and kill him with your attacks.

Takahashi Jiro is accompanied by a guard who is rather easy to defeat. If you wish to tackle this fight with Yasuke, taking out the guard first makes the fight much easier. Here’s all the loot you obtain after defeating Jiro and looting his body:

• Final Word of the Guardian (Uncommon Teppo)
• Armor Damage on Multiple Enemies (Engraving)
• 2 Mastery Points
• 2000 XP
