Whether for the main story or side missions, Assassin’s Creed Shadows features several organizations on its Objective Board with targets to assassinate. The Betrayers is one such organization, consisting of seven targets. They earned their name by becoming traitors to Yasuke’s lord, Nobunaga Oda, and assisting Akechi Mitsuhide in orchestrating the daimyo’s downfall. 

All The Betrayers Targets in Assassin’s Creed Shadows – How to Unlock and Rewards

The Betrayers side quest can be initiated by talking to Hori Hidemasa as Yasuke. Hidemasa is situated in the Miidera Temple, northern Mouth of Seta, Omi region. While Yasuke must begin and end the quest by speaking with Hidemasa, Naoe can also carry out the assassination. The Betrayers can be assassinated in any order, although Hidemasa may provide key intel about select targets. Here are the rewards you can expect to receive from assassinating The Betrayers:

All The Betrayers Locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

• Endo Tomoyasu – At Koyasan Village in the Kii Region, already killed by Hidemasa.

• Fujichika Nakayama – Situated in the northeast wing of Takatsuki Castle, south of Yamazaki, in Izumi Settsu. 

• Sato Katsubei – Sits in the northeast wing of Yamazaki Castle located directly south of Kyoto in Yamashiro. 

• Sato Genta – Provides security at Azuchi Castle military harbor during the day and stays at the Nobutada estate at night.

• Itakura Shigezo – Works at Himeji Castle during the day and spends nights at Himeji brewery in Harima.

• Usami Yoshiko – Works as a concubine southwest of Katano Castle in Izumi Settsu. 

• Masatoshi Nakahara – Located at the northern end of Kameyama Castle in Tamba. 

Rewards for Completing The Betrayers Side Quest

Once you have assassinated all the targets, speak with Hori Hidemasa to complete the quest and receive the following rewards:

• 5,000 XP
• Hori Hidemasa’s Helmet – Epic Helmet
• Gold x 1
