Is the Sekiryu Dual Pack Worth Buying in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

For a price of $19.99 or 2,300 Helix Credits, is the Sekiryu Dual Pack worth buying in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available in four different editions. While the Standard edition only comes with the base game, every other edition has at least one reward attached to it. The Sekiryu Dual Pack is attainable if you purchase the Digital Deluxe, Collector’s, or Ubisoft+ Premium editions, along with the additional rewards.

However, if you are someone who owns the Standard edition and wants to get hold of the Dual Pack, then you’ll have to spend $19.99 or 2,300 Helix Credits. The pack contains equipment and weapons for both Naoe and Yasuke, but is it worth it?

The Sekiryu Dual pack consists of the following items:

  • Sekiryu Gear Set – The armor stats of the Sekiryu Gear Set are not too overpowered and are fairly decent. Both armors are clad in red and dragon-themed designs.
  • Eye of the Dragon Katana – The red aura surrounding the Katana also speaks of its perks. It provides bleed buildup on an enemy and also deals 35% more damage when facing a single enemy.
  • Claw of the Dragon Long Katana – Yasuke’s Long Katana in the Sekiryu Dual Pack has an additional buff. It provides more adrenaline gain while it is equipped. The perks are similar to Naoe’s.
  • Dragon Tooth Trinket – The Dragon Tooth trinket provides more vulnerable and critical damage on targets, plus a 100% critical chance on the character’s next attack after a finisher.
  • Sekiryu Beast Mount – The Sekiryu Beast Mount, all red with black and white streaks in its mane, and a combination between a dragon and a bull, is a cosmetic mount that has no other advantages than looking cool.

Is the Sekiryu Dual Pack Worth It in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

If you’re purchasing the Sekiryu Dual Pack with the hope of gaining an advantage in gameplay, it will not be worth it. The pack does not provide an advantage in stats better than the rest of the equipment in-game. However, the Dual Packs look extremely pleasing to the eye and are an 8/10 as cosmetic items.

Plus, the Sekiryu Dragon Mount, although it might affect your immersion in feudal Japan, looks almost like a remodeled mount in WoW. If you’re someone interested in visual improvements, then this is worth the purchase. However, if you’re looking for some stat boost, then this pack, unfortunately, will not provide any.
