Poison, daze, and finish off your opponent in style to unlock the Overdesign 3 trophy in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Overdesign 3 is one of the more difficult trophies to acquire in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. A multiple sequence of events is to be performed simultaneously with utmost precision to be able to successfully receive the trophy.
In this guide, we shall take a look at what all is expected of us to capture the Overdesign 3 trophy.
Requirements for the Trophy

For the trophy to be unlocked, the main priority is to unlock various effects for your weapons. You will also need to decide which weapons to use against which set of enemies to make the quest easier and more efficient. Let us have a look at all the requirements for this trophy.
Category | Condition |
Weapon | Primary Weapon – Katana Secondary Weapon – Tanto |
Weapon Effect 1 | Poison buildup – The enemy will be subject to light damage over time, leaving them more vulnerable to incoming attacks. |
Weapon Effect 2 | Daze Buildup – The enemy will be in a state of disorientation, leading to them missing attacks and struggling to defend against your attacks. |
Character | Either Yasuke or Naoe |
Enemy | Stronger class of enemies with armor protection. |
Your players will not be able to have two weapons of the same type equipped at the same time. So, it is important to have two different weapons with the effects applied in your immediate inventory. In this way, each hand will be able to hold a weapon, and you won’t be required to switch weapons from your holster mid-fight. This will help save you time and make it quicker for you to achieve the Overdesign 3 trophy.
Now, choosing the right set of weapons is essential. Take a trip to the nearest vendor and make two purchases. First, purchase a katana for your primary weapon slot, which holds the daze buildup effect. Secondly, purchase a tanto for your secondary weapon slot, which holds the poison buildup effect. Once your weapons are ready, you can proceed to trigger a fight.
How To Unlock the Overdesign 3 Trophy in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

This trophy requires having the opportunity to fight longer with an enemy. For such an instance, there are two different approaches you could consider. Either you could face a stronger foe who could take more damage to fall, or you could use lower-level weapons, which would require more hits to defeat a foe. Defeat all the weaker enemies in the area before focusing on the last, tougher enemy. Chances of a finisher being performed are guaranteed on the last remaining enemy.
After taking that into consideration, approach your enemy. Begin with inflicting damage with the daze weapon, followed by quick strikes with the poison weapon. Check whether two gauge meters appear under the opponent’s health bar. A purple circle with a skull icon indicates poison, and a plus icon with a red background indicates the daze meter.
Now continue attacking the enemy till his health reaches under 10% of the full bar. Now, quickly deal the last blow before the effects wear off, and the finishing move will automatically trigger, unlocking the trophy in the process.
