The Naginata is rewarded from Shadows Projects, unlike other legendary items found through exploration in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Shadows Projects is the battle pass system present in the game that awards players for completing specific quests. Here’s how you can get the Cerulean Nexus Naginata in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. 

Obtaining the Naginata in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Cerulean Nexus Naginata is a top-tier weapon among the Assassin’s Creed Shadows community as Yasuke slices through enemies like butter with it while in free roam. Enemies melt as the Naginata’s critical damage buff chunks parts of their health bars.

The Cerulean Nexus is obtainable through the Legacy Shadows Projects battle pass found in the Animus. The Naginata is obtainable by completing rank 4 of the Legacy part of the Shadows Projects. You can rank up the battle pass by obtaining data fragments. Anomalies are the only way to get Data Fragments in the game currently.

The Anomalies are quests to clear enemies, loot treasure, and more. These are often simple but get complex as you level up more. The locations are random, and 4 are provided each week in the game. That means that you can only farm a limited amount of data fragments each week.

The Cerulean Nexus Naginata has a critical damage buff (scales according to level) and a special perk that increases impact on shoulder tackle. Yasuke’s shoulder tackle is a showcase of his strength as he takes down foes and objects with this mechanic. Sprinting towards any obstacle and enemy will automatically trigger a shoulder tackle. With the Cerulean Nexus Naginata equipped, your shoulder tackle will deal more damage.

The Naginata also is one of the more unique-looking weapons in-game, as the entire weapon catalog of the Shadows Projects portrays the futuristic back-plot of the game.
