Assassin’s Creed Shadows has quite a few romance options for the players, similar to other modern RPGs. Lady Oichi is Lord Nobunaga’s sister, so despite being fond of each other, both she and Yasuke experienced some trouble because of their social class difference.

However, despite all that, it is still certainly possible to romance Lady Oichi in AC Shadows if you know what to do during some specific quests. In this article, we will tell you about all the necessary steps to sway Lady Oichi and walk you through the entire romance arc.

All Steps To Romance Lady Oichi in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Players will meet Lady Oichi during the “An Education” quest. It is also the first time you will get some flirtatious options for her. However, unlike Mayu’s arc, to romance Lady Oichi, you will need to go through multiple quests, so naturally, it is quite lengthy. Now, we will discuss all of the missions and the dialogue options you will need to pick in detail.

An Education

An Education is a personal quest for Yasuke only. It serves as a flashback to the samurai’s old training days, which is also the time when he met Lady Oichi for the first time. The process is quite simple during this quest; pick the “Some company might be nice” dialogue option to complete the first step of Lady Oichi’s romance arc in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

A Talk With a Lady

For this particular quest, you will have to journey across feudal Japan and reach Goshiki Outlands. It will be located northeast of Omi. Once there, you will find your potential love interest in a Japanese house in the southern area of the village. After reaching the place, talk to the NPC named Kuma, and he will lead you to a conversation with Lady Oichi. Unfortunately, you won’t have any romantic options in this quest, but it is still an important part of the overall process.

A Prayer for Omi

During the “A Prayer For Omi” quest, you must first go north of Azuchi to reach the Lake Biwa coast. There, at Shirahige Shrine, you will find Lady Oichi waiting for you. However, before you can proceed with the mission, you must complete four objectives. You will easily find these tasks by simply following the blue markers on your map and HUD. After completing the tasks, speak to Lady Oichi and select the “I would like to spend my last night with you” line.

The Wheel Unmasked

To trigger “The Wheel Unmasked” questline, you will have to complete every single quest in The Mourner part of the Shinbakufu section. Additionally, “The Wheel Unmasked” mission holds an interesting plot twist, which throws Yasuke and Naoe into a personal struggle and conflict. Spoiler Alert: During this quest, you will learn that Lady Oichi is a member of the Shinbakufu.

So, naturally, there won’t be any romance dialogues in this mission, but you will get an option to attack Lady Oichi as Naoe or spare her as Yasuke. However, even if you try to attack her as Naoe, her bodyguard Kuma will take the lethal blow instead, and Lady Oichi will survive.

The Wheel Turns

At the start of “The Wheel Turns” quest, you will receive a letter in your hideout. With the help of said letter, you will be able to find this Shinbakufu member in a marketplace near Azuchi Castle in the Omi region. After that, speak to her, and Yasuke will reveal that he was looking for her because he is concerned about her health and happiness. During this conversation, pick the “I miss your smile” option to continue the romance arc. Alternatively, you can also choose the “I will check on you later” line to delay the process.

The Cat Island

If you pick the first dialogue option mentioned, then Yasuke will invite her to the Isle of Cats. There, you will have to accompany Lady Oichi up a hill. Then, during your chat, select the “I am drawn to you” option as you two discuss who is worthy of Lady Oichi. After that, you will have a brief conversation with Lady Oichi’s daughters, and they will tell you that they have found a dog that belonged to the Akechi Clan.

Additionally, you can either keep or give the dog to the daughters. Rest assured, because no matter what you pick, it won’t affect the outcome of this segment.

The Last Sunset

After the conversation with the daughters, the game will cut to a beautiful scene of Yasuke and Lady Oichi standing in front of a sunset. During this encounter, select the “Let’s enjoy the moment” dialogue option. Now, we must tell you that there won’t be any intimate imagery if you pick the line mentioned. However, it will mark the end of the Lady Oichi romance in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
