Assassin’s Creed Shadows features numerous tombs, known as Kofun, scattered across its vast map. These are packed with treasures, including legendary tools, gears, and mons. One such Kofun in AC Shadows is the Veiled Tumulus, which offers three chests, including one legendary chest. However, you can only choose Naoe as the character to obtain rewards from the Veiled Tumulus Kofun.

Location of Veiled Tumulus in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
In AC Shadows, Veiled Tumulus is in Mount Uchinikao, the north of the Wakasa region. You will be able to spot the location surrounded by water bodies. Additionally, you can refer to the attached image for the exact location.
How to Obtain the Legendary Chest of Veiled Tumulus
Once you arrive at the location, you will spot a cave. Head inside and walk down the path to find yourself facing three enemies. After eliminating the enemies, continue straight until you spot a blocked path. Next, use the Kunai to explode the bomb and remove the blockage. Enter and take the way leading to your right.
Afterward, set off the bomb to clear your path. Then, descend and squeeze through the gap to reach a water body. Hop on the rocks to arrive at the chest. Open it to find the Sogenbi’s Regret Epic Trinket. Next, follow the stairs on your right, and they will take you to an alley.
From here, follow the path and eliminate one enemy on the way. Throw a Kunai at the bomb and head straight to find another chest with the following rewards:
- Edamame
- Mon
- Ghost-Walker Robes Epic Light Armor
Now, take the help of a Kunai to explode the bomb and uncover a narrow gap. Make way through this gap and continue on the path. After a short distance, climb the rocks on your right to reach in front of a window-like structure. Throw a Kunai at the red target to open a secret path.
Make your way through this path and crawl beneath a hanging rock to reach a chamber with three enemies guarding the legendary chest. Eliminate these enemies to obtain the treasure.

You will find the following reward in the legendary chest of Veiled Tumulus:
- Reward: Stone Heart Legendary Kusarigama
- Engraving: Spread affliction with a combo ender
