How To Obtain Iron Ore in Runescape Dragonwilds
The first step in acquiring Iron is to collect some Iron Ore. You can find them scattered around the Stormtouched Highlands, located in the northwest of the map. Iron Ore nodes more commonly appear near the corners and the cliff regions, especially around the border between the Stormtouched Highlands and Fractured Plains.
If you find trouble in locating them, the Detect Ore + Clay spell can do the job for you. Use the Bronze Pickaxe to mine Iron Ore nodes. You can also use the Rocksplosion spell to make things faster and effective. In addition to the Iron Ores, mining Iron Ore nodes rarely drop Jade, a rare gemstone.
How To Use Iron in Runescape Dragonwilds
After collecting enough Iron Ores, you need to convert it into Iron Bars. Place the Iron Ores along with some Charcoal in the Furnace. You will receive one Iron Bar for every three Iron Ores. The Iron Bar can be used to create a wide variety of high-quality armors and weapons at the Smithing Anvil.
Since Iron is obtained from a level 4 region, it is used to craft level 4 gears. Blightwood Longbow, Blightwood Shortbow, Draconic Staff, Iron Greatsword, and Iron Greataxe are some notable weapons you can craft with Iron. You can also create powerful armors such as the Iron armor set and the Paladin’s armor set.
