In Runescape Dragonwilds, players must gather essential materials by traversing through the various dangerous regions of Ashenfall. However, some items are rarer than others, with gemstones being one of them. Jade is one of the four gemstones available in Runescape Dragonwilds during the early access launch, alongside Opal, Sapphire, and Red Topaz.
Jade is a green gemstone available exclusively in a high-level region and has a low drop rate, making it a challenging resource to acquire. Follow this guide to learn where you can find Jade and what it is used for in Runescape Dragonwilds.

How To Obtain Jade in Runescape Dragonwilds
You can obtain Jade as a secondary drop when mining Iron Ore nodes, though the chance is very low. The green gemstone is exclusively found in Stormtouched Highlands, a higher-level region located in the northwest of the map. This area is filled with level four enemies and lightning strikes, so it is essential to equip yourself with high-quality gear to survive the threats.
You can find Iron Ore nodes by scouting the corners and mountain regions of Stormtouched Highlands. However, you need the special Mining perk called Gem Prospector to extract Jade, which unlocks at Mining Level 16. Instead of using a pickaxe, prefer the Rocksplosion spell to mine faster and increase your chances of acquiring Jade.
How To Use Jade in Runescape Dragonwilds
After farming enough Iron Ore nodes, return to the base to take things further. While the Iron Ores can be smelted into Iron Bars, Jade can be used to create various ranged weapons. At Crafting Table, you can create a Blightwood Longbow.
Moreover, you can craft Blightwood Shortbow, Hunter’s Stagbow, and Draconic Staff at the Smithing Anvil. You also need to stack up materials like Blightwood, Vault Shard, Swamp Thread, Iron Bar, Granite, Ram Horn, and Antler to make these weapons.
