Baldur's Gate 3 Shadow-Cloaked Ring BG3

In Baldur’s Gate 3 the Shadow-Cloaked Ring is an accessory which can improve hit damage against shadowed foes. The main perk is called Shadowthief, and it grants the wearer the ability to deal and additional 1d4 damage against Lightly or Heavily Obscured creatures, and creatures made of shadow. Moreover, bonus applies to damage done with weapons, as well as unarmed attacks. While this isn’t a ring you’d want to wear at end-game, it could be moderately useful in an otherwise empty accessory slot. Baldur's Gate 3 Looting Shadow-Cloaked Ring

This shouldn’t be a super difficult fight, as the Alpha doesn’t really have the much more HP than the others. The most annoying mechanic is that the Alpha can make a Terrifying Howl, which can potentially make your party members Fearful. This is an annoying condition which will cause your party members to run away and inhibit them from taking any other action for at least a turn. Keep your range party members at a reasonable distance and try to focus the Alpha down first.

Once you’ve beaten the pack, however, find the body of the Shadow Mastiff Alpha and you can loot the Shadow-Cloaked Ring for yourself!

How to Use the Shadow-Cloaked Ring in BG3?
