There are several types of world activities for you to complete in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Some of these are specific to Naoe, and others are specific to Yasuke. Then, there are things to pursue as either of the protagonists. Hidden Trails are a kind of world activity that only Naoe can complete. They involve simple platforming puzzles where Naoe will have to follow a trail using her parkour skills and the grappling hook.

There are a total of 10 Hidden Trails throughout the game, all of which reward the player with high-quality gear at the end. In this guide, we’ll outline all 10 Hidden Trail locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows and explain how to get there.

Path of Shadows – Iga in the Nabari Wilds

Head to northwestern Harima and position yourself just northeast of Mount Kasagata. You’ll be able to see a campfire here. That’s where this particular trail begins.

Path of Shadows Hidden Trail

Once you head to the Iga region of the game’s map, fast-travel to the Nabari Lookout Viewpoint. Then, head southeast from this fast-travel location, and you should soon discover this trail.

Path of Valor Hidden Trail

This is one of the Hidden Trail locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows that’s the easiest to find. It’s right next to the Koyana Ruins fast-travel point in Izumi Settsu. If you haven’t unlocked the fast-travel point, go to the Senri Hills sub-region to find this activity.

Path of Secrets Hidden Trail

Go to the Katsuragi area within Yamato. If you’ve unlocked the Kakurega in this area, the Hidden Trail is just southwest of the Kakurega. This is also not far from your Hideout.

Path of Wisdom Hidden Trail

Head west from Mount Uchinakao in the Wakasa region until you’re close to a stream of water. That’s where you’ll discover this particular Hidden Trail.

Path of the Blade Hidden Trail

You’ll be able to take on this activity by heading to the eastern side of the Taga Shipyard in the Suzuka Foothills of the Omi region. Completing this Hidden Trail gives you access to epic armor.

In the Tamba Highlands sub-region of Tamba province is the Path of Silence Hidden Trail. To easily access this location, you can fast-travel to the Kumoryuji Temple Viewpoint if you’ve unlocked it previously.

Path of the Chosen Hidden Trail

You can find this particular trail on the southeastern edge of the map in the Iseji Trails sub-region within the Kii province. The closest fast-travel point from this Hidden Trail is the Shingu Kakurega.
