Sakamoto Castle Location in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Sakamoto Castle is situated in the Omi region, at the southwest corner of Lake Biwa. Positioned along the waterline, it is separated from the mainland. To access the castle, enter the Yoshimitsu Estate and pass through the Armory. Sakamoto Castle is classified as a low-wealth base and contains three Samurai Daishos.

Before diving into the specific locations of Samurai Daishos in Sakamoto Castle, here is a useful tip. As you navigate the castle, white dots will appear on your HUD. These indicate items of interest, chests, or even enemies. These white dots will appear slightly different for Samurai Daishos, indicated by a Samurai helmet symbol. Use the observe mechanic to locate them before engaging them in combat. Since they are stronger than regular enemies, stealth assassinations are the best choice.

Here are the locations of all three Samurai Daishos in Sakamoto Castle:

• Samurai Daisho 1: The first Samurai Daisho is located at the Armory. After you enter the Armory, you will find him in the west section of the Armory area. He stands inside a covered arena-like area, positioned near a cart, which you can detonate to deal serious damage.
• Samurai Daisho 2: Now, head east from the Armory to enter Sakamoto Castle. You will find a few guards along your way. Assassinate them to avoid alerting others. You will find the second Samurai Daisho right outside the west of the main building, training another guard.
• Samurai Daisho 3: After assassinating the second Samurai Daisho, enter the main building where the Legendary Chest is located. The third Samurai Daisho patrols the third floor of the main building, guarding the Legendary Chest.

Sakamoto Castle Legendary Chest Location and Rewards in AC Shadows

The Legendary Chest at Sakamoto Castle is located in the far east of the castle, guarded in the main building. It is on the same floor as the third Samurai Daisho. Once you kill him, you can open the Legendary Chest to receive the Ship Captain’s Gear, a legendary armor with a 50% chance to negate projectiles.
