Blue Prince: How To Use Treasure Map

Using the treasure map leads you to a lost treasure within the estate, rewarding you with a large number of coins and gems in Blue Prince.  

In Blue Prince, players can acquire various useful items to counter the odds. Each item has a unique purpose, and some can even be upgraded at the Workshop to maximize their effectiveness. The Treasure Map is a unique item that players rarely find during their run.

As its name suggests, it contains a clue to a hidden treasure within the estate. But the game doesn’t explain how to actually claim the treasure. Don’t worry, that’s why we have prepared this guide, explaining how to get and use the Treasure Map to find the coveted treasure in Blue Prince.

How To Get Treasure Map in Blue Prince

The mysterious Mt. Holly is a place not only full of mysteries and secrets, but also of treasures. The Treasure Map is a rare item that you can find across the estate. Carrying the Lucky Rabbit’s Foot in your inventory greatly increases your chances of finding rare items like the Treasure Map. You can also draft item-specific rooms like the Closet, Walk-in Closet, and Attic to boost your odds of discovering the Treasure Map. Once you have found the item, it’s time for a treasure hunt.

How To Use Treasure Map in Blue Prince

The Treasure Map marks a random spot with an X on one of the rooms you have not drafted yet. Construct your blueprint layout leading to the marked spot to find the treasure. However, you need a Shovel to dig for the treasure. Once you reach the room, you will get a special interaction option somewhere inside. Press the button to use the Treasure Map and dig the spot using the Shovel.

You will find one of the lost Coffers of Mt. Holly, which rewards you with coins, gems, or even both in generous amounts. For example, we received 25 Coins and 3 Gems on our first treasure hunt, while the second hunt yielded around 8–10 Gems (not sure about the exact quantity). Moreover, the Treasure Map plays a crucial role in uncovering the mystery of Baron Bafflers puzzle.
